[As Jennifer said in the intro of her last post, three of us all channeled our Higher Selves on the topic of Trust, which comes to is as a package of Trust-Surrender-Allow. This is my offering from that session. We’ll post the third teammate’s view later in the week. We hope you enjoy the series of multiple perspectives. — Rob]
Rob: I’m requesting to meet with my Higher Self, Sam-u-el, who appears something like the AI-generated image to the left.
Okay Sam-u-el, I was inspired this morning with the word “trust,” and of course, we’ve had a conversation about “trust, surrender, and allow,” so I trust that you have something to say about this. Over to you.
Sam-u-el: Hello, Rob. Hello, all. It seems odd, does it not, to meet in this way? We are always in communication. We are always having a conversation. This morning, when you asked for what topic would be appropriate for today, I suggested one. You heard it, so we’re communicating just fine! But I understand this is perhaps for a broader audience…
[Regarding] your question of trust, that goes immediately to an understanding that there is a Divine Plan, that YOU have a Divine Plan, that you are part of a much bigger plan. So fundamentally, trust is simply your acknowledgement of that, that you are aware that there is such a plan, even if you’re unaware of what the details of that might be. You are trusting that there is such a plan. You are trusting that you have a role within that.
You also drew the card on the Universal Law of Change, and within that it says that, yes, you understand that there is a plan for you, but it is sequenced and sequential. There are a series of events that must unfold for the fulfillment of that plan. Again, you may not understand what all those steps are, what those events may be. The trick is, as you all have rightly pointed out, is to not attempt to control that.
You have heard before in previous sessions that it is very difficult for humans to not attempt to control events, to allow them to just unfold. I would argue that those who have said that were being polite, and in reality, it is nigh unto impossible for humans to understand the fullness of the Divine Plan. So attempting to control that is pretty close to futile.
You often say, as a group, to trust, surrender, and allow. And as we just rightly pointed out a little while ago, [those actions] are so sequential. Trust comes first, that there is a plan. Surrender your sense of control, your need to control. Surrender yourself to the plan, even if you do not understand what steps are involved. How events must unfold, surrender yourself to that. Just let it go.
And finally, allow. Allow the universe to bring to you those events that are appropriate for the unfoldment of that plan FOR YOU, within your realm. That may not be the same for everyone. You are all individuals. You are all sovereign beings. You each have your own role within the grander Divine Plan. Just allow that to unfold.
It is a tricky thing for humans to let go of, to release so much. You live your life in the realm of physical, feeling the need to control everything … and rightfully so. There’s so much in your world that can bite you, that can harm you, so you learn from a very early age to control events, so that you stay safe. But in reality, there is no danger. That is all a perception that you have from the perspective of the physical existence. But that’s not your real existence. That’s not your real life. These are all just experiences that you are choosing to have.
So viewed from that perspective, there should be nothing fearful about letting go. In fact, it can be joyful. What will the universe bring me next? What wonderment, what wonderful things that I may have never experienced before come my way in the next period before me? It can be a lot of fun from that perspective!
