However you are processing the goings-on in the world… we all need support as “The Times they are a Changing!” Many of us grew up with Bob Dylan, who was considered a prophet for our generation, and I always felt he was pointing to some really huge shifts – in our lifetime- that we would be wise to be awake to… it feels like we are in the midst of these shifts. NOW. How are you keeping your balance, your positive outlook, your heart in a space of compassion and generosity? Love, Jennifer
Let’s talk together: come to SPIRIT CAFE at 11 Am EST on Saturday: Please join us!
COMING UP NEXT: Saturday OCT. 12th, 11 am – noon EST – JOIN us!!
Spirit Cafe is a free, online meeting place for spiritually-minded folks to gather, learn, contribute and share all things spiritual! For folks who enjoy listening or engaging in casual conversation about the many interesting spiritual topics out there, Spirit Cafe will provide an open-minded and open-hearted platform.
Sue Schofield and the Lighthouse team of Jen, Rob, Adrienne, Paul, and Roxanne will lead off the discussion with a topic, but the discussion will go wherever YOU and Spirit choose to take it!
All are welcome and all will surely benefit from connecting with friends, family and folks from all parts of the world.
We meet for 1 hour on the second Saturday of every month, 11 am – 12 pm ET, on Zoom:
I think we are all feeling the effects of an unsettled and chaotic world, which has served up a big plate of palpable division amongst the Collective. As challenging as that feels, there is a way we can heal the problem, beginning with ourselves! The more we can remain in our Divine Neutrality, the more we can positivelyimpact the rampant division we see and feel in society. At first glance, you may think this is pie in the sky thinking, but change always begins with ourselves!
Let’s meet at the SPIRIT CAFE on Sat, Sept 14th, 11:00EST and talk about how we can find Divine Neutrality in our lives. It’s a free monthly conversation, led by Sue Scofield and the Lighthouse team of Rob, Jen, Adrienne, Roxanne and Paul.
We look forward to seeing YOU! Bring your cuppa: cU 🙂
Spirit Cafe Enters 2nd Year! this joyful pic was taken last month at our first anniversary.
AUGUST 10th, 11 am EDT SPIRIT CAFE RIDES AGAIN! Come join us this Saturday for another great conversation on Spirituality. This month we’ll begin with the topic of Change and finding balance and divine authority in the midst of change. Are you seeing chaos here there and everywhere? how do you cope, settle, re-balance? Let’s share our insights and experience, it always feels so supportive when we connect.
If you haven’t yet taken the opportunity to participate in the monthly SPIRIT CAFE discussions, this Saturday’s offering will be a treat. It’s our 1-Year Anniversary, so we thought it would be fun to begin the conversation with how we’ve grown or changed spiritually over this past year. What have you experienced? How has it looked and felt?
No matter how the discussion meanders, no matter where Spirit moves us, it never fails to be enlightening — I always seem to learn something. Please consider joining us for this exciting event, even if only to sit, listen, and be inspired!
As always, SPIRIT CAFE is a free, on-line, Zoom-based discussion that occurs the 2nd Saturday of every month, 11:00am – 12:00pm Eastern, at the following link: LINK: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81970023054
Sue, Jen, Adrienne, Paul, Roxanne, and I invite you to grab your favorite beverage and join us for an hour of spirit-filled conversation in a safe space with like-minded friends!
Almost a year ago a team of Council of Love Teachers established the Spirit Cafe (a free, on-line Zoom discussion on the 2nd Saturday of every month). In fact, this coming July will mark our one year anniversary. All are welcome, and we would love for you to join us. Whether participants choose to actively engage in the discussion or to simply sit and listen, it’s a great place to join with and learn from others, no matter what one’s spiritual background. You’d be surprised at how the wisdom reveals itself!
As a case in point, at our most recent Spirit Cafe discussion (on 11 May), I had an “ah-ha” moment, a revelation, about why seemingly negative thoughts and emotions arise when we’re on the spiritual path toward enlightenment. You know, it was one of those moments of connecting the dots on well-known ideas to see them in a whole new light!
The gathered group was discussing why such thoughts and emotions arise and how they can lead to self-doubt and self-criticism, and can even become self-sabotaging. Someone raised the point that this is why it is important when invoking the Universal Law of Attraction – Repulsion to pay particular attention to the second half of that Law, which is the act of Repulsion. That is, it’s just as important to consciously declare what thoughts and emotions we don’t want when attracting what we do want.
That’s when I had my ah-ha moment. Maybe the so-called “negative” thoughts / emotions, which often become self-sabotaging, arise BECAUSE we are ready to assume the role of being a co-creator, and these unwanted thoughts/emotions MUST come up to be released … and they must come up to put us in a state of being able to receive. It’s these suppressed “negative” thoughts / emotions which are standing in the way of being able to receive the positive vibrations of what we are attempting to attract.
Yes, we want to attract something, so we consciously ask for it. Fueled by our intention, the energy flows out from us in an infinity loop, attaches to what we want, and then returns that to us. But if we are not ready and open to receive, the delivery is blocked. In that sense, the thoughts / emotions stemming from our false beliefs about our worthiness indeed become self-sabotaging.
When such thoughts/emotions arise, it then becomes critically important to allow them to flow out — otherwise, we cannot release them — but they must flow without judgment or self-criticism. And once we recognize what is happening, we can then repulse those thoughts/emotions with the specificity needed to effectively receive the gifts we’ve asked for.
The lesson: The creation process is most effective when we repulse the very beliefs that are standing in the way of what we are desiring to attract! Whoa! How simple it is now to see the cause and effect at work. How did I not see this before?! 🥴

This is just one example of the type of wisdom that is revealed when spiritually minded folk get together to just chat and share what we know. We are so much smarter as a collective than we are individually. And this is the beauty of Spirit Cafe. Please consider joining us this next Saturday (8 June) at 11:00am EDT.
Rob (on behalf of Sue, Jennifer, Adrienne, Paul, and Roxanne)
We have been besieged by early Spring storms lately, and it’s so interesting to notice how they affect me, emotionally and energetically. I’m very empathic, like many sensitive people., tending to be open to and picking up easily on the emotional states around me. Over the years, the best way for me to understand emotions is to use the metaphor of water. It’s here. I feel it. It can be delightful or uncomfortable. And it passes. Generally I like this aspect of myself, feeling with others enriches my human journey, but it can be draining or overwhelming — and requires self-care, a period of extra quiet-time afterwards, an introversion to replenish my clarity. Like going to the car wash for the psyche. Recently I channeled about this with my teammate Rob Loveland, and I’d like to share with you. Jennifer
Jennifer channeling Yeshua/Jeshua On Weather and Emotions
Jennifer: There’s water all around me. I was feeling for a while that I was sort of back in the womb. Completely floating like a little tiny one. Just being nurtured and soothed, the water’s very healing for me, but I’ve also been surrounded by precipitation for a few days and it’s kept me pretty deeply into the more emotional states…. Feeling Yeshua and Mary Magdalene together, either side of me, taking my hands…I’m just in a place of taking in, rather than in offering out…
I had a question earlier for Yeshua, which had to do with ‘Please remind me of the value of exhaling thoroughly to clear one’s energy, and it would be helpful if this question were addressed.’
Yeshua: Yes, this is Yeshua. I’m most grateful for this opportunity to come into presence with you at this time. Greetings to you, Rob. I’m delighted to speak with both of you. It is quite the transition to go from being the sponge to being the oracle; as you say, one is the water flowing in and the other is the water flowing out. Or, we should say, energy flow; the energy flowing in, the energy flowing out. Channeling is very much flowing through. That’s why itfeels so delicious. But if you’re feeling a bit waterlogged, it can be a challenge.
You [Jennifer} were asking about the the use of the breath in regulating the emotions. When one is in the midst of powerful feelings, one is often in a place where one breathes rather abnormally, irregularly, and takes in more air than one lets out. One is gasping for air, in a way; one is breathing deeply, but not evenly. And so what you are recalling is the instruction to release the pent up, stored up breath and this will regulate the emotions; it will regulate the energy. So the way to do this is deliberately, with several breaths, at least three but more if comfortable. And you take a small breath in and then a long breath out, blowing all the way out …[demonstrating]… until there is nothing more, and then allow it to come back in naturally, in its own pace, until you are ready to exhale again. In which case, you exhale…[demonstrating]… and you will notice that a great deal more comes out than went in.
And this happens because there is a storage of the breath that is saturating you and bringing to you the experience that you have chosen, bringing to you the experience that propels you to greater wisdom. Every single time you experience Life, it’s a wonderful learning opportunity for you— not always comfortable, as you said before to your friends. It is at times wrenching and at times quite taxing and you naturally feel weary, tired, sleepy. So take your time. Go through this in your own pace.
You see, this is where you all can trip up, by beginning to berate yourself for not being as adept as you would like to be, or feeling disappointed in yourself or even annoyed with yourself — and this is not helpful. Someone is recovering from an emotional experience? It is not helpful to be annoyed with them. You see? So do not be annoyed with yourself. Understand that there is a variety of different emotions that come up when there is a very strong trigger, such as that presented today, triggering deep-seated fears. And fears often are accompanied by anger. When someone scares you, it is natural to be quite angry with them. They scared you, after all. They did not scare you, they brought up your fear. So the anger is part of it, too. But do not compound that by turning the anger on yourself. Just accept that this is the emotional experience. There’s the fear; there’s the anger; there’s the tiredness. And this is merely an experience, a human experience.
There is a lot going on for the Earth as a whole, for your particular area also. There is much happening when there is a storm of the nature that you have all been experiencing. It is collecting energy and it is propelled by energy from the earth Herself, but also by the human collective because you are a part of Her. She is a part of you. You are made from Her. She is connected to you and you are connected to Her. You feel when She feels. She is releasing powerfully, powerfully releasing. Be grateful to Her; celebrate Her.
Be in peace when you can. When you find yourself stirred, tremendously stirred, emotionally, participate with Her. This is fine. It will pass. All storms pass. You participate in the storm, emotionally— it is fine. So there is no judgment. There need be no judgment. We certainly do not judge you. We celebrate you for your human journey. It’s very much a journey of mastery. It is a journey of mastering yourself, fully embodying all levels of your higher self, your Divine Self, and those come with emotion, that is part of your being and it is part of your human history. Your interpretation is quite correct. I’m not telling you anything new, but I am enjoying the telling. I am enjoying the interacting with both of you.
I wonder, would Rob have a question at this point?
Rob: Given our conversation earlier, is Jennifer one who feels the emotion of others of the collective, so sometimes what she is feeling is not hers and, if so, how can she tell the difference?
Yeshua: She is picking up on the emotions of the collective. She would not understand them nor be able to relate to them, if she did not carry some of that within herself. So she has that material within herself which magnetizes the collective experience and magnifies it for her. So she is propelling the larger bowl of soup, so to speak. It is not just her personal bowl of soup, that she is experiencing, her personal emotional world. She is participating in the larger emotional world, by choice. She has deliberately opened her emotional body to be receptive to, to understand and experience and gain wisdom from the larger collective emotions, which travel all over the planet energetically. And ‘Weather’ is a good description of the externalization of emotion.
Rob: I see. Thank you and that’s interesting.
Yeshua: Yes, it’s by choice. So while some experiences may be more difficult than others, none are dangerously overwhelming, in any way. She has a lot of help from us. She’s had a lot of training. She enjoys her experiences, but, like facing into the wind of a howling hurricane, it’s very exciting! There is a component of partaking which is valuable.
And there are others who do not choose this experience much, for this life, such as yourself, you would rather maintain your peace, if possible, or have your own private storms. So, you see the bigger storms with a greater aloofness and this is perfectly fine; it is merely a choice… the differences between people.
Rob: Thank you.
Yeshua: You are most welcome. Great blessings, great love to you.

OH– By the way!! Our Lighthouse Spirit Cafe is coming up this weekend! We’d love to have you join us for this monthly conversation on Saturday at 11 am EDT.
We are excited to continue our Spirit Cafe, a monthly, online hour for spiritually-minded folk to gather, learn and share all things spiritual! For friends, old and new, who enjoy joining in thoughtful conversation about all the many interesting spiritual subjects out there, from health to ETs ~ a warm welcome to join us at Spirit Cafe! This month it’s on Saturday March 9th, at 11 am Eastern Standard Time!
This month we will begin with the topic of Energy– we are all feeling it, even if we aren’t aware of it, we know something’s different… So, what’s going on?!
It’s time again for Spirit Cafe, our place to gather with friends (and a cup of your favorite coffee or tea!) to open its doors and invite us in to chat about all things spiritual! The doors will open this Saturday February 10th, at 11:00 am, EST, for an hour of spontaneous, heartfelt discussion about anything and everything connected to spirituality and to each other as Spirit having a physical experience.
If you’re unfamiliar with Spirit Cafe, it was born from the weekly gathering of my personal Spirit Family, Jen Donaldson, Adrienne Head, Rob Loveland and Paul Backes, together with our new Soul Sister, Roxanne Smith. We comprise a Team of certified Council of Love Teachers and SpiritLife Coaches, but when we get together at Spirit Cafe we’re just us – friends who love to explore spirituality.
We meet practically every Saturday to plan webinars and classes, and to just plain enjoy each other’s company! It often happens that during the course of a weekly “meeting”, we veer off course and get lost in spontaneous conversation about unrelated spiritual topics. We LOVE when that happens! In fact, we love it so much that I had the thought that we should create a platform that provides an opportunity for anyone who wanted to enter into conversation about the fascinating world of spirituality to have a way to do that, and Spirit Cafe was born!
I say I had the thought to create Spirit Cafe, but it was truly a Spirit Family effort! And we extend our hearts to you, along with our sincere invitation for you to join us this coming Saturday, the 10th of February, and the 2nd Saturday of every month. We sometimes suggest a topic to start off with, but we always allow the freedom for our conversations to take us wherever they take us! We hope you choose to grab your favorite “cuppa” and meet us at Spirit Cafe!
