Primary Guide Hum-fire (Humphries) on Forgiveness (of Self)

Rob: All right, so I think I’m going to ask about the whole notion of forgiveness, and how do we forgive ourselves, to go deeper into that.

I’m just envisioning myself remembering back when Hum-fire and I first started as an emanation from the Mother. It was both of us together, setting out on our adventure.

Hum-fire: Hello, again, all. Yes, this is Hum-fire … Humphries, if you prefer, although that is more Rob’s name for me.

Yes, we started a very long time ago, together setting out on what you’re calling “our grand adventure,” seeing what fun we can have in this universe, in this realm of physicality. Not all of it has been pleasant or fun, but that’s the way we started. That was the intention behind it. Let’s have some fun. Let’s see what this universe has to offer [in terms] of what we can experience.

And we both experienced times of sorrow and sadness and regret about events that have happened seemingly to us, to those whom we love, so your question about forgiveness, this is the grand lesson. This is the whole point of what you should be focused on in these days, as we near ever closer to the point of full ascension of the entire planet, of all peoples, back to a state of love and peace and harmony, the timing of which is completely dictated by your choices in forgiveness.

And yes, as you were arriving this morning, the conclusion that forgiveness is really about forgiving yourself. There is nothing that is happening in the world that was not, at least in part, your creation, perhaps in agreement with many others, that this was the experience you choose to have.

And you may ask, why does there need to be experiences of sorrow and pain and regret? And the simplistic answer is so that you know what the opposite of that feels like, so that you recognize what it is to return to love and unity and harmony.

[When] existing in a realm of complete unity consciousness, infused with love in all things, it becomes rather difficult to discern what that feeling really is unless one experiences something other than that. And one does not understand the full depth of what true unity consciousness [IS], what true harmony IS, what love IS at its core. So we all choose to experience something other than that. That then leads us to the realization that this is not what we want. We prove the positive by witnessing the negative.

But the times for all of that experimentation, I will call it, is coming to a close. It is time to forgive yourself for all that you see. What you judge as good [or] bad, it’s all the same. They’re all just experiences.

So [to] your question of how do you forgive yourself, again, the simple answer is in the recognition of what all of those experiences actually are. Just that: choices that you have made to see something, to teach you something, to witness what is the opposite of what it is that you truly desire, so that you can solidify in your own mind what is it that you desire, that you do, in fact, want the return to unity and harmony and love.

Archangel Gabrielle on Forgiveness (and Trust)

Archangel Gabrielle: Greetings, all! Yes, this is Gabrielle, Messenger of the One, here today to bring you a message, a message of thanks, of gratitude, from all at the Council of Love, the full company of heaven, for all that you do, with what you are doing here today and what you do every day.

Our dear brother, Mikael, reminds you to stay centered during times of chaos. To many, this does appear as a time of extreme chaos, with all the events on the world, within your own lives. Again, [this is a] simple reminder: stay centered, stay in your heart, just as you are here now.

And being in your heart means being connected to who you really are, as divine beings, as representatives on Earth, on planet, to beam that Divine Radiance to all that you see. And whether you are conscious of it or not, you are, in fact, beaming that radiance at all times, and we are ever grateful for you volunteering to assume this role.

I have said many times, the Keys to Heaven: love, trust, forgiveness, unity, connectedness and balance, these are all equal, but today, as your teammate so graciously led us to discuss, [is about] forgiveness. Yes, it is a time for all of you, all light workers, to forgive all that you see.

As Rob often says, forgiveness, the word itself [consists of] two parts: “fore,” meaning beforehand; “to give,” to give of yourself. So in reality, it means to give the love of yourself from a point of time beforehand, that is before any perceived slight or upset ever happened, for, in reality, it never really did happen.

Anything that you perceive as upsetting, that contributes to the chaos that you find in any way upsetting, it’s really a reflection of what is happening within you based on your own belief system.

So I encourage you today, that as you beam out those feelings of forgiveness for all that you see, for all slights that you perceive, that you acknowledge that that is an indicator — anything that disturbs your peace — of something within you, a belief that you need to let go of.

Mary Magdalen on Forgiveness

Mandala by Jennifer Donaldson, 2005

In this channeling group conversation, we were wondering about the practice of forgiveness…and that sparked a really good answer from one of our Council of Love Ascended Masters, my beloved Mary Magdalen. As we approach the New Year, and leave the old one behind, it seems like a valuable spiritual practice to forgive ourselves and each other, to live and let live, to let go and bless. Even more so, it feels like the only path to unity. Enjoy the message… Happy New Year! Love, Jennifer

Jennifer: I’m just aligning and receiving: opening my heart and crown…  giving my ego some toys to play with, maybe some candy. Get him all sugared up. For some reason, my ego is a he– it’s very funny!  …. Ah, so Maggie is here.

Mary Magdalen: Dear ones, I’m grateful for your presence. I’m grateful for your loving circle. I’m grateful for the opportunity to speak with you after my beloved Yeshua spoke with you at the Fall class [Who’s Yeshua? at OLLI, with Linda Dillon channeling Yeshua on forgiving].  I would be happy to elaborate on both of these topics [the other topic was conspiracy theories, to be posted another time].

Let us begin with forgiveness. Yes, it is extremely important in these times, because it is difficult to hold your divine neutrality without it, whereas if you can say to yourself that you forgive yourself —for your humanity and for everything you didn’t understand that was less than love or that led to an expression of less than the love that you are— you will be elevating yourself to a place where you can observe and offer love both ways, within and without. You see? And forward and backward.

Think also about loving your self-of-40 years ago, 50, 60, years ago, 10 years ago. Love yourself for the mistakes you made. You are human. Life is about mistakes. The human life is a wonderful arena, a playground, in which to make mistakes. And some of you have become so afraid of making a mistake and so punishing to yourselves when you do so. And this is not helpful. This carries a residue of heaviness within you.

First of all, you will feel some anger, because no one should have to carry this heaviness for so long. And secondly, you will carry some shame, because you think that others will judge you, or have judged you, or you have somehow created a mess in a way that is not forgivable. It is all forgivable. It is all forgivable.

As Yeshua said, forgiving is a way to wipe the slate clean, and you do have with your sovereignty, your divine sovereignty, the supreme ability, the divine ability to forgive and to wipe the slate clean. So allow yourself that. Clarity leads to clarity. Allow yourself that purity, which you essentially are,  to be the spokesperson for your being, to be the presence, to be your Divine Presence.

So, the forgiving within, and the forgiving without, and the forgiving without works in the same way.  You allow others that same tender understanding that they are human. They do not know what they are doing, they do not understand what they are doing, and those few who may understand and still prefer to stir the pot, so to speak, will be forgiven as well, because anyone in the fullness of their own divinity would not choose to create chaos of this type.

And so they are not in the fullness of their own being. They have perhaps forgotten. They have, perhaps at some point, denied themselves the ability to be fully good, to be fully love. They are, in many cases, punishing themselves so harshly that they believe they are only capable of evil, of ill, of mis-creation, you see, so… it’s, well, “If I am not going to love and I’m not going to be loved, then I’m just going to create as much trouble as I can.”

You understand this, you have all had twinges of this, perhaps in a situation in which you were held unjustly apart from the love of those who you love. Yes, this is part of the human experience, all aspects of separation. But is it ultimately true that we are separate from one another? No. This is the illusion. This is the illusion, the illusion of separation, you see. So all are, all are forgivable, and you are capable of forgiving all, as you give them the same loving tenderness that you can offer to your own dear self.  And you know your own ability to love and your own desire and longing to be understood and accepted and loved, despite your faults, despite your choices, which at times have caused some harm.

….. I so enjoy our coming together in this way. It is a great pleasure for me, and thank you for all that you are contributing to the world at this time by your being you, in the many ways that that expresses.

Blessings on each of you.
