Quan Yin on the Need for Active Compassion

Quan Yin

Rob: I’m calling in Quan Yin. She’s sitting on the lotus flower.

So thank you, Quan Yin, for joining me. I was thinking, based on the things I was reading, the word “compassion” came to me, and then, of course, that caused me to invite you in. So what do you have for me?

Quan Yin: Greetings, all, dear ones. Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to speak today.

This is somewhat of a reminder that during these times of so-called chaos, now is not the time to shrink away, to hide yourself, to hunker down, as it were, and let the storm pass. There are too many out in the world who need your help, who need your compassion.

Now is the time to reach out, to just be there for another, to show them that they are seen, that you know what they are going through, and that all of this, no matter what is happening in the world, no matter what is happening within their own belief systems about what is happening in the world, you have been there. You got through it, and so will they.

And you will come out on the other side much stronger, much more solid in your own belief about what is important. Most of what happens in the world is really of no consequence in the grander scheme of the Divine Plan. It is really about you coming to understand who you are, and once you have that, helping others through that same process. This is the act of compassion.

And again, it is not sitting in a room by yourself in isolation, waiting for the storm to pass. It is actively engaging those around you, however you find them, however they find YOU. They WILL find you. They will see your light and be drawn to it, as the lighthouses that you are.

And you will help them, help them understand who they are, and that all that is happening in the external world is simply there to help them come to that understanding. It may not be comfortable. The storm may be rough, but they will come through it.

They will find that light within themselves, and that is the key, to point them within themselves. You know this. You are doing it. All of you are doing this each and every day, whether you think you are doing it overtly or not. It’s a beautiful thing to see, and we are so grateful for you, all of you, for being there, for taking on this role. And you are doing so well.

Don’t forget to have fun in the process. As you just read that passage from Yeshua, to find the joy that is underneath all trials, for it is there. If you look hard enough, you will realize what the blessing is, and with the blessing comes the joy and the gratitude for what it has brought you.

And of course, we are always here. If you need to have a temporary respite from the turmoil, call on us. We’ll go for a ride on the dragon. I know you like the feeling of the wind in your face. It is always there. We are always here.

So I will leave you with that thought. Go with our eternal blessings and gratitude and love. Farewell for now.

Quan Yin on Living Compassion

[I channeled this just after we lost a close family member, and while the passing came suddenly, it was not altogether unexpected.  – Rob]

Quan Yin

Rob: Time for a little compassion, I think. Huh. I am I’m not seeing [Quan Yin] as I usually do, where she comes in on the dragon; she’s in the garden where I usually meet Lao Tzu, [where it’s] much more calm and peaceful. So we’re taking our seat on the bench by the pond — a stone bench.

So, thank you, Quan Yin, for joining me. I kind of have a lot running through my head right now, but it makes a lot of sense to me that you would come talk to me, being the Goddess of Compassion and all. Anyway, I will turn it over to you. What do you have to share with us today?

Quan Yin: Greetings, dear Rob … and a fine hello to Jennifer and Jo Ann, as well.

Yes, I just wanted to stop in to express my condolences to you and your family. You are handling that oh so well, and you truly are being that lighthouse for the rest of the family, showing them that death need not be a time of sadness. Yes, of course, the family will miss a member, but as you pointed out yesterday [in my Celebration of Life speech], Steve is always here. He will always be with you, and, of course, you are welcome to have a conversation with him at any time. So trust that the family heard you, and they are taking advantage of that thought, of that truth. So yes, it’ll take a while to get beyond the point of feeling that loss, but as you well know, that all comes in time.

And at the same time, you find yourself in this position of wondering what is happening in the world. There is so much going on. There are indications that the plan is moving forward, that we are coming quickly to a point of culmination. It’ll be a while yet — revelations of truth will come forward, bit by bit, slowly. This plan is built such that the greatest number of people will wake up in their own time.

Your job, and I think you know this very well, is to simply be the lighthouse to shine your light to others while the storm is brewing around you, just blowing wildly. And anyone caught in that storm is questioning where to go, how to proceed. Where is that place of safety?

Just beam your light. Show them what calmness in the face of the storm, what that looks like, what that feels like. It’s not your job to advocate what is truth, no matter what others are saying. Just show them what peace looks like, the way to peace, the way to calm, the way to safety.

If others ask what you believe, what your version of truth is, then, by all means, tell them. [But] whether they accept it or not, it’s really not your concern. Express your truth. Be at peace. Do it lovingly. Show them what compassion looks like in practice.

Quan Yin on the Role of Compassion in Guiding Others

Quan Yin

Rob: I’m seeing Quan Yin, but not on the dragon. This is Quan Yin on the lotus blossom. So, Quan Yin, I just open myself to you, whatever you would like to share, whatever message you have for us today.

Quan Yin: Good evening. It’s such a pleasure to be with you. Yes, I am Quan Yin, so-called Goddess of Compassion. You will find that many of us don’t like such titles. They seem so pretentious! 😊 … but they are there for a reason.

And yes, I am stepping forward to have a conversation about compassion, for these times in particular. Now is the time to fall back on, to rely on, to lean on, your sense of compassion for all others for the difficulties that will arise soon. Many people will be upset with what is transpiring. Pay that no mind. All is happening according to plan.

What I am here to address is your role in holding that sense of love and compassion for all — not just any particular group, but for all groups — for the sense of being in groups is really an outward expression of separation. And we all know there is no separation, not really. We are all children of the One, so hold that love for all, and above all, hold that same compassion for yourself.

It will seem at times like the world has lost its mind, is going crazy, and it will be difficult to see where we’re going, what the outcome is going to be. Hold fast to the love within you. Hold to that sense of compassion for all others.

Everyone will be going through this time of transition together. All will be experiencing the same sense of confusion. Do you need to know what is coming? No, not at all. And, in fact, it does serve the plan to some degree that you not know, so that you are feeling that same sense of turmoil and confusion and uncertainty that all will feel, and then you, all of you, can be the lighthouse, can show them the way to safety, show them the way to peace, and ultimately, to hope.

All will be well. There is no reason for fear. As you all have been discussing recently, fear is a construct based in either the future, which has not yet happened, or the past, which is already gone. Rather, hold yourself within the present and just BE, knowing who you are, why you came, what you came here to do, to be that shining light for all others.

In this, we have no doubts about your ability to do so. You have already proven yourself many, many times over.

It may feel like you’re being tested in the days to come, but again, there is no such thing. What will happen must happen in order for all truth to come to light, even if that is completely contrary to what you think at the moment. And as you said earlier in the day — very wisely, I might add — that you are also preparing yourself for the possibility that everything that you think you know you are wrong!

It is better at this time to simply fall back on the one point that never changes. You are love. You are a child of the One, and all will be well.

Quan Yin on Just Having Fun!

[With all the news of such turmoil in the world, I just wanted to have some fun … and Quan Yin was more than happy to accommodate!  — Rob]

Rob: I don’t know who this is going to be. I don’t even know what it’s going to be about. All I know is I want it to be fun — nothing too heavy. … I know who it’s going to be — Quan Yin. I see her coming in, riding on the dragon.

Quan Yin: Well, hello, Rob! You said you wanted to do something fun, so let’s just go for a ride. Come on, hop on board. Let’s go. We can talk while flying. You didn’t get to go sailing this weekend due to the weather, but that’s okay. You can take a ride on a dragon anytime you want. When it’s pouring rain outside, climb into your comfy chair [and] just go for a ride.

And as with sailing, just feel the wind on your face, see the sunlight shimmering on the water, see the patterns in the clouds. Life doesn’t need to be any more serious than this.

As others have said, it’s all a projection. It’s whatever it is that you want to make it. If you’ve had enough of the day-to-day world, as it were, and you just want to go have some fun, then do that. Let your imagination run wild, but in doing so, remember this is just as real to you, to your mind, as anything that you’re experiencing in the so-called “real world,” for it is no more real. The trick is convincing yourself of that.

And I would suggest that the more you take such opportunities to play, to allow your imagination to run wild, that over time, more and more, you will realize it’s all the same.

You get to choose the experiences you want to have, and this will be so important for the days to come. As you acknowledged at the beginning, events are happening in the world quickly now. It’s getting a little crazy. This is all necessary. The systems that have been put in place by the collective of humanity for so long are all starting to collapse, to come to their natural end.

But even in using the word “collapse,” that’s nothing … should be nothing fearful. [There should be] no sense of destruction — they are simply coming to their natural end. The old systems that no longer serve must come to an end to make way for that which is SO much better, so much more enjoyable and uplifting and supportive of all of humanity!

So while it may feel tense for some in the process, just keep coming back to [the fact that] YOU get to choose what the new will be — all of you collectively. What is it that you want life to be? It can be anything. You’ve heard it many times before: dream big, for nothing is out of reach.

You all, in particular, are there to convince others how much fun this process can actually be … so long as you don’t get wrapped up in the illusory events that are playing out in front of you. Let them come; let them go. Watch it as you would watch a movie, except as you’re sitting there in that darkened theater, you get to choose what happens next … and the universe will respond. Have fun with it.

And if at all gets to be a bit overwhelming, again, find that comfy chair, pull up a dragon, hop on board, and let’s soar through the clouds, anytime you choose. I hope you can all find your own dragon or your own magical creature, whatever that may be.

I wonder if any of your teammates have any questions for me before I go?

Quan Yin on Compassion for Others

[As is so often the case, this is another message with practical guidance that will be valuable in the days to come. Wishing you all a Happy Father’s Day! I, for one, had a great day! 😄 — Rob]

Rob: Let’s hear what the Chinese sweetheart has to say. Of course, I see Quan Yin riding in on her dragon, always making such an entrance!

Quan Yin: Thank you, Rob, for giving me this opportunity. I don’t say for inviting me in, because I was the one that knocked on your door. But we are here now, together, to talk a bit about Compassion.

And the idea that I would like to address today is not just compassion to yourself — that is always true; that is always necessary. Today, rather, it’s about projecting that compassion to others. As your teammate’s guide said, and you noted, addressing others — all interactions with others — from the perspective that they just want to be heard is, in itself, an act of compassion on your part, to view those interactions, the perspectives of others — that they are struggling through life or living their life without struggle — the same as you, no different than you, [for] you are all one. Why would they be any different? But the act of compassion on your part is actively acknowledging that that is true.

And then approaching all interactions from the perspective of the underlying love that you are, it is an act of your will. [That is], not allowing your emotions to be overtaken by the emotions of whatever event is in front of you, but rather actively setting that aside and acting out of compassion [to] see the other person as your brother, as your sister, no matter what they are engaged in, and that they are simply trying to express themselves, however they know best at that moment. Perhaps they are acting out of emotion; that’s not who they are; that’s not where they come from. It just happens to be how they are reacting at that moment.

The act of compassion on your part is to see through all of that and to project to them that feeling of love, to understand that they are simply feeling perhaps unheard, unworthy, unseen. So see them, feel them, hear them. That requires a conscious effort on your part.

And in doing so is the opportunity for you to connect to your own heart, to your own spirit, and reach out to theirs. This is why you are here. This is why you are all here in this grand play, this adventure. You will find in doing so and behaving this way that the play becomes so, so much more fun, so much more meaningful.

It’s just another idea of how you can connect day-to-day and to stay connected throughout your day. I hope this has been helpful. I trust it has been so.

Does anyone else have any questions for me?
