Dragon Geoffrey on Seeing from a Higher Perspective

Geoffrey is my own personal dragon, and the picture below is close to how I see him.  And while his message was directed at me because I asked, it’s really meant for all lightworkers. — Rob

Rob: Geoffrey is waiting on me at the grassy place where I usually meet him, overlooking the water. I walk up and pat him on his head and neck. It’s always so cool to look at the iridescent green feathers.

Geoffrey, I seem to be drawing these cards today that, while they’re all dragon cards, these in particular, struck me that they all have something to do with the air. Maybe you can share a little something. Why are these, in particular, calling me so much?

Geoffrey: Welcome back, Rob. Yes, this is Geoffrey. As you know, I am always within you, always within your heart. So it is nice every now and then to come out and stretch my legs, stretch my wings, to meet you in this place where we can have a conversation. Perhaps later we’ll actually go for a fly.

Yeah, the cards were away to bring your attention to something that’s been on your mind — the theme of the air as an elemental and, as you mentioned, your totem animal of a bird of prey. But it doesn’t matter what the bird is. It’s a reminder to see life from the higher perspective, from up in the air, looking down at the life that you are living, that others are living, the experiences you’re all choosing to have together. It’s a reminder to see things from the perspective of heaven.

Why are things happening the way they are? There is a reason for everything, and it’s important for you to maintain the balance while you are here in form. You must also maintain a sense of understanding from the higher perspective that these are all just experiences for you to learn, for you to grow, for you to understand who you really are.

While you were searching for topics to channel on, you also saw the word “charity.” Again, this was intentional. And I would remind you, charity, simply giving of yourself, what has been bothering you, the reason you asked to speak to Linda, is all about questioning yourself [about] the offering that you are giving to others. This is all an act of charity.

Charity is simply wanting to share the knowledge that you have, the wisdom that you have. For once you gain that knowledge and wisdom, it wants to be shared … and you are more than happy to accommodate. This is what you do. This is what everyone eventually does.

But I would remind you again, from the higher perspective, that in offering that sharing, the sharing in itself is its own reward. Having expectations of gaining anything else as a result is a fool’s errand. You’re missing the point. The sharing in itself is its own reward.

Archangel Mikael: More on Charity and Projecting Love

[This message is a continuation of my previous posting on Charity (from my personal guide Malika), but really puts a fine point on the fact that giving is just as much about receiving. Very cool! — Rob]

Rob: I’m inviting in Archangel Mikael. I had a feeling earlier he wanted to talk. The archangels always seem so large to me — I have to look up to see in their face.

So Mikael, do you have anything to share, perhaps why I keep getting the card on Charity?

AA Mikael: Welcome, Rob. Welcome, all. Yes, this is Mikael, Defender of Truth. I come to you today to talk to you as one of my own, for you, too, are a Defender of the Truth, one of my team.

Regarding your question about the card on Charity, we, collectively, keep sending you this card, for there are still lessons to learn. As we often say, there is always more — more to learn, more insights, nuances, that you perhaps haven’t noticed or seen before.

Today, as you read the card, the application associated with it, you picked up on the notion, the idea, that perhaps you should make it a daily practice that as you project the love out to the world, that you not do this so much in a general sense, although there is nothing wrong with that. Your practice is to breathe out the love, imagining it as a wave that ripples out in a circle all around you, out to the world, out to the universe, and that is a fine practice. But now, given your desire to feel, feel more from your heart and to get out of your head, that when you breathe out that love, project it TO someone or TO something.

And as the card teaches, any projection of love outward proceeds as an infinity symbol, such that once it is received on the other end, it is amplified, it is magnified, and that comes back to you. So as you project out the love, concentrate not just on whom you are sending it to, but on the love that is returned to you. FEEL that.

Every act of giving is also an act of receiving. Know that. FEEL that. Feel what is returned to you at all times. This, as a daily practice, as you breathe out consciously to project the love, feel what is returned. This is the next step on your journey of learning to live from your heart.

I hope this has helped. And I hope that it has helped all of you. As you have discussed, many of you struggle with learning to get out of your head and into your heart. Are there any questions at this point?

Personal Guide Malika on Charity and Being Charitable with Oneself

[This was channeled a while ago, but the trend of draw the card on Charity continues. I still receive this particular card (alot!), but this was the start of it. — Rob]

Rob: Yeah, this is gonna be my personal guide, Malika [who appears to me as a dancer and always having fun]. She’s literally skipping down the roadway.

So Malika, anything to share about the card on Charity? What is it that I need to know, since I’ve gotten the card three times in the last week and a half?

Malika: Hey, Rob! Just having a fun day. I know your day might have been somewhat trying, but that’s why we need to connect — to remind you to just have fun, to see the glory in all life in all its forms.

Yes, three year olds [my grandson] can be trying, but that’s only because you’re trying to put them in a box. The spirit of a three year old is free; wants to explore, wants to play, moving from one set of toys or activity to another, completely uninhibited by any sense of rules. It is the adults who are trying to place rules and constraints, and I would encourage you to put yourself into the mind, into the body, into the spirit, of a three year old. Just have fun. That’s what life is meant to be.

And the whole notion of Charity, yes, it really is about being charitable to yourself. You have no problem with giving to others, giving of yourself to others. This is a strength. The real lesson for you, though, is are you really allowing for the energy, the love, to return? Are you taking that in? And just as importantly, are you being charitable to yourself? As you pointed out, there are markers that say perhaps not.

So take this as an opportunity to feel what it means to be charitable to yourself. You’re feeling at this point, having so much to do, [that] your to do list never ends. There’s always something calling you, asking you to perform some task … relax! It’ll all get done, sooner or later. Whether it’s paying the bills, doing boat work, doing the yard work, it’ll all get done. It always does. Just have fun with it.

These are things that you do. They don’t define who you are. Just something to occupy your time while you’re here, in between times of having fun. And there’s no reason that doing those activities themselves can’t be fun. So I would encourage you, as the Buddha has pointed out, that even in the paying of bills — a task as mundane as that, loaded with such emotional energy — can be viewed as a return to yourself, putting something out to the universe and allowing whatever the universe wants to return to come back to you. Take that in. Feel the growing strength within you to deal with this more and more in the future. That in itself can be a lot of fun.

So you know me. That is my trademark — it’s all about having fun, about dancing through life. I know you don’t like to dance, but WE will work on that … and yes, I’m including your teammate in that.

So with that, I will allow others to ask any question that they may have.
