Q&A with Yeshua on Being Present

[This is the Q&A portion of the channeling session with Yeshua that I posted last time.  The first part was channeled by me with our teammate Jo Ann asking the questions, and the second part was channeled by Jo Ann with Rachel asking the questions. I find this to be very helpful, practical guidance. I think you will agree. — Rob]

Part 1: (channeled by Rob)

Jo Ann: May we ask a question, Yeshi?

Yeshua: Certainly.

Jo Ann: Okay. So in terms of goal setting, [using the] creation formula, and so on, if I am understanding you correctly now and also based on the other materials we’ve studied, if we have a creation [project] that we wish to create, do we spend time envisioning what it will feel like, what it will look like, what it will mainly feel like, I guess, when it’s accomplished, and [then] create an action plan. But then, go into a meditation state, go into a listening state, for guidance on the next steps.

I’m trying to make sure I understand the relationship, or the sequence, or the process for creation, which is visioning in the future, and visioning action steps to accomplish that, and then listening for guidance on what those action steps should be and what the next process should be.

Yeshua: This is exactly so. Again, there is nothing wrong with — and, in fact, we encourage you all — to envision what it is that you desire. And all the experiences in your life have brought you to the point of being able to discern better what it is that you want and what it is that you do not want, so that you may envision better that future state. Feel it. Allow that emotion to come, that feeling of gratitude, thankfulness, joy for that state.

But as you just said, entering into that state of complete presence opens you to receiving the guidance on what is the best way to get to that state. So very often, when you are creating your action plan, if the actions that you are choosing to take are not in complete alignment with getting you to that point, then you are in some way inhibiting your own progress towards that goal.

I would suggest, first, you enter into the state of complete presence within your own heart, completely centered to just be. Allow and let the guidance on what actions to take to come to you while in that state of complete receptivity. Be patient. Allow it to unfold, and it surely will.

Does this answer your question?

Jo Ann: Yes, and it also brings up another question … or maybe a statement of understanding. I read often that before you go to bed, if you will write the question that you want an answer to, and then sleep and, in the morning, just go into a meditative state, the answer will often come. That is, I think, some of what we’re saying here, also.

Yeshua: It is. So often, in that sleep state, or more appropriately, in that half-sleep state, you are already naturally in that state of centeredness, of being present. You are not yet encumbered by the thoughts of the day. This is when you are completely in a state of receptivity. This is why the suggestions are to do exactly as you suggested, at that time of day. But that does not mean you cannot enter into that state consciously at any point during the day. Yes, it will require practice.

Does that suffice?

Jo Ann: Yes. Thank you. Thank you, Yeshi.

Rachel: Yeshi, do you mind if I have a question?

Yeshua: Of course, of course, of course.

Yeshua on Being Present

[My teammates and I had a great conversation with Yeshua on the challenges of staying present.  This is his opening guidance — subsequent postings will be on the Q&A that followed. — Rob]

Rob: I guess I’ll go to the usual place that I meet Yeshua, sitting atop my pyramid, outside the temple.

Okay, so Yeshi, you’ve heard the conversation about being present. What I’m wondering is just … well, I’m not sure what I’m wondering. Just any guidance you have about how to stay in a state of presence.

Well, he seems like he’s in a really good mood. Big smile, very happy.

Yeshua: Hello, Rob, Hello all. Yes, I am very much enjoying your conversation. It does make me happy. This is a point to which all must arrive. This makes me happy, because it means you are really, at this point, getting in touch with figuring out who you are. It all starts with being present.

It seems such a simple thing to say, and perhaps people use it a bit too cavalierly — is that the right word? But it is such a deep concept, really, and it is the core of all other spiritual practices, for you can’t really engage in any of those practices without being present.

And being present means being in your heart. You could treat those two expressions as one in the same. And the same goes for when you say that you are being grounded, that you are staying centered; it is all the same.

You can’t be in your heart without being in a state of presence, presence of who you are. It’s the point of coming to that awareness of who you are, truly are. None of this superficial personality, the trappings of your current life, but getting in touch with who you are underneath all of that … or over and above all of that.

You were driving the other day, as you were just explaining, and you started thinking about, what does it mean to be present. Not being in the past, not being in the future, what does that mean? As you said, it is observing your thoughts. If you are thinking about some event that has already happened, then you’re not fully present. You are occupying your time in the past. If you are worried, about something coming up, have some sense of fear, no matter how small, then you’re living in the future.

Think about that a moment. Having any form of fear means you are afraid of what might happen, which means you are not in the present. You are occupying your time thinking about the future. The future has not happened. You have not made the choices yet to get you to that point, so why are you spending your time, occupying your mind, worrying about what will happen in the future?

So observe your thoughts. If you’re not in the past, and you’re not in the future, then by definition, you are in the present. THEN, you can FEEL within yourself who you really are, completely unencumbered by any of those other thoughts that are actually serving very little purpose.

Think about for a moment what that would mean, how freeing that state is, completely unencumbered by the emotions of what you think should have happened in the past or what might happen in the future. You are completely free at that point. This is the state that humans were meant to live in. That’s what it means to be free, truly free!

Archangel Uriel on Holding Focus and Being Present

Rob: So I’m envisioning Uriel in front of me, as I often do. He’s got the Silver Flame in his hand. He just gives it to me, puts it in my hand, and then he touches me on my Fourth Eye, between my eyes. I think that’s to help me feel that particular chakra.

I don’t know that I have anything in particular to talk about, maybe just this whole idea of us being divine beings, creating our own reality. Teach me something I don’t know.

AA Uriel: Greetings. This is Uriel.

So just allow yourself to receive. See the light. Feel the light. Let it permeate every part of you. This is simply an exercise of being in physical form, encouraging your own Self to feel the light, for in reality, this is not something you have to try to do. It is something that you ARE!

That light, the brightness, the brilliance, that shining of the sunlight on the water is difficult to look at with your own eyes. THAT is what we see emanating from you to all, and you can direct that wherever you choose to place your attention, your focus.

In your conversation with your teammate, you were talking about how difficult it is to remain present, to hold that focus for any length of time. Understand, your limitation is in the thinking about time. All can transpire, everything that you want to happen as a result of you beaming your own light to whatever you’re focused on, happens in an instant. You don’t have to hold that for any length of time.

That fleeting thought is enough. It will achieve what it is that you hope to achieve, whatever your desire is. Just let it go, trust that it will do its job, and move on.

This idea of holding focus for any length of time is a human construct. It’s the idea that you are somehow more spiritual the longer you can hold your focus. Yes, it allows you to bask in those higher vibrations, in those feelings. Allows you to soak in it as if you are soaking in a warm bath. But a shower works just as well, and that doesn’t take nearly as much time.

Stop worrying about time. It’s not of any consequence. Just return back to your own intentions, visit that as often as you can through the day, just so that you are going through life consciously, as opposed to waiting for life to happen to you. You can direct absolutely everything.
