Demonstrate the Blessings Anyway …

[This is a poem inspired by Spirit, albeit one whose structure was borrowed from another.  I’m no poet, but I like how this turned out. — Rob]

As so often happens, I was quietly contemplating spiritual concepts when the poem, “Do It Anyway,” came to mind, and I questioned what that would look like if focused on the 13 Diving Qualities / Blessings and Virtues [1].  To remind you, the poem, “Do It Anyway,” was written by Kent M. Keith, but popularized by Mother Teresa (most often remembered by the one stanza, “The good you do today will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.”)

So for me, holding fast to the 13 Blessings and Virtues in a chaotic world would look something like this:

The world may pressure you to make hasty and easy decisions. — Be prudent anyway.

The world may convince you to disregard the plight of others. — Be compassionate anyway.

The world may encourage you to give up. — Stand in fortitude anyway.

The world may seem hopeless. — Keep hope alive anyway.

The world may reward the ego-centric. — Express humility anyway.

The world may encourage you to be greedy. — Be charitable anyway.

The world may entice you with the morally wrong. — Be pure anyway.

The world may advocate for the unbelievable. — Hold to the truth anyway.

The world may present you many plausible stories. — Apply your wisdom anyway.

The world may seem entirely mundane. — Hold a sense of awe anyway.

The world may show you ugliness. — See the beauty anyway.

The world may make happiness seem elusive. — Find the joy anyway.

The world may look to keep you down. — Allow Heaven to show you grace.

The 13 Blessings and Virtues are the waypoints of Nova Earth, so I hope this serves as an inspirational roadmap to help you find peace in these seemingly chaotic times.  In spite of outward appearances, we’re on the doorstep of realizing the promises of a new world, and with a dedicated focus on what truly matters, we will surely find our way there … together.

He Who Seeks Finds …

[It’s been quite a while since I posted an article, rather than a channeling, but I do as I’m inspired to do … 😉👍 — Rob]

I woke up last Sunday morning with a phrase running through my mind.  Having slept in on such a lazy morning, I kept thinking about it, and several more phrases came to mind.  As I thought about it over the next two hours, more and more phrases spontaneously revealed themselves … so, of course, I took it as a clear message from spirit!

Rob Channeling

The message shaped up as this:

Seek nature and find grandeur;

Seek the young and find hope;

Seek meaning and find truth;

Seek the truth and find wonder;

Seek blessings and find gratitude;

Seek solitude and find peace;

Seek love and find Heaven;

Seek yourself and find God.

~~~
These are all based on (and expand on) Jesus’/Yeshua’s teaching in Matthew 7:7-8 (NIV) :
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
The most important revelation about each of these phrases is that in order to find the blessing at the end, one must take action first.  But, these aren’t grand, laborious actions.  They reflect the quiet, internal contemplation of eternal truths, something one can do at any time, irrespective of what is happening in the world.
It doesn’t matter how chaotic the world is or your life may be.  You can always go within, where the external events cannot enter.  Intrusions can only happen if you allow them.  If you focus on the negativity, then you will surely find it.  But, if you want to find blessings, they are there to be found as well!  You simply have to look for them.
For me, so many of these truths are embodied in the face of my young granddaughter, in the form of hope, wonder, gratitude, peace, and love, all of which confirms the presence of the Divine.  When I look at her and think about the future of our beautiful planet, I am filled with joy! And I can’t help but wonder, “Little Miss Magic, whatcha gonna be?” [1]
