I often wonder about my role in the world, though I’ve always known my soul purpose is to be the love, to share love and light. But how is that to be accomplished in practical ways? I have also been feeling my age lately, feeling that I should take it easier and be more gentle with myself. Finding balance as I move into my seventies is the journey. Channeling, creativity, tending family, resting, gardening, exploring- all part of the kaleidoscope, whose balance is in the center! (Perfect metaphor!)
I love to channel, but sometimes wonder if I “should” be more active in promoting the channeled messages. I LOVE this answer by Ascended Master Mary Magdalen, one of my favorite teachers, channeled just a few days ago.
Greetings! This is Mary Magdalene…
I know that you have had a tendency to exact a great deal from yourself and so it is good for you to hear twice, that to be entirely unconditionally loving to yourself is not to be a taskmaster, is not to always be striving to accomplish more, or pushing yourself to excel – which is your particular metier [note: I don’t speak French], your particular way of wanting to express yourself with your peers. And requesting to be of service is, of course, part and parcel of of this.
You are of service when you are in the state of love, within and without. It comes with the territory. It is not something else. It will naturally express itself from that state when it is correct for the energies to move in certain ways. So if you are called to channel for another person, such as someone who has come to you with questions, someone who has come to you with a burden, someone who has come to you looking for some relief and some support, and you offer to channel, that would be a gesture of love from the center of your being which can come only when you are so aligned and that is your intention.
If there is a desire to become publicly known – we will be quite blunt about this – it is not your path. It is not your path, my dear. You will have many opportunities to share the purity of the wisdom- which you endow us with- and which resides within you as well. There is within each of us, within each of you, that purity of connection with Source which makes you unique, which makes your voice unique, your words, your message exquisitely individual, in a way in which we all rejoice, because we enjoy this about each other, the ways we express.
